Getting started

In this section, we will guide you through the steps on how to quickly and easily order a cloud server. Follow the instructions below to get started with your cloud infrastructure:

  1. Log in to the customer portal and navigate to Cloud ServersCreate & Manage from the left-hand menu

  2. Click Create Server

  3. In the Location field, select one of the available cloud regions

  4. Configure your cloud server:

    • Choose the OS image

      Please note that licenses for Windows server OS incur additional charges. The total hourly or monthly price, including the Windows license, will be displayed when you select Windows OS during the ordering process.

    • In the Configuration field, choose a billing plan (per month/per hour) and select one of the available server configurations

    • Choose the authentication method: password authentication with the root user, and/or key-based authentication with the cloud-user

    • Specify whether backups should be created automatically

    • Select the necessary network features

    • Enter a server name. This name will help you distinguish between multiple servers and can be useful when contacting support

  5. Click Create Cloud Server

Your cloud server will be created.
